About The Position
The Intensive English Program (IEP) at Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) is seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach a minimum of one class either two or four days a week in person. The IEP serves a diverse student body from over 25 countries across five continents. This part-time, non-benefit eligible position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to mentor students in your area of expertise within a campus community focused on academic excellence, peace and justice, and active faith.
Requirements
- Prior experience in TESOL or language education necessary
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in TESOL or related field is preferred
Responsibilities
- Teaching a minimum of one class either two or four days a week in person
- Requisite preparation and grading
- Assist with exit exams
- Assist with IEP-wide activities
- Attend faculty meetings
- Any other responsibilities loaded in with their contract
