About The Position

Fresno Pacific University’s Christian Ministry and Leadership Program is seeking innovative and dedicated adjunct faculty members who have a demonstrated commitment to working within a diverse college community. The CML Program is designed for both traditional undergraduate and adult accelerated or degree completion program students currently in or preparing for Christian ministry. In this program students are challenged to think biblically about Jesus and his Kingdom in relation to the larger world, cultivate personal spiritual formation, enhance competencies in ministry skills, and engage real-life ministry contexts.

Requirements

  • M.A. or Ph.D. in related field of study
  • Experience in Christian Ministry
  • Ability to work with students, staff, and faculty in a collegial environment
  • Commitment to the Christian faith and the University’s mission of Christ-centered teaching and learning and involvement in a local church.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses as described and assigned
  • Discuss class progress with the program coordinator, including teaching performance through observation
  • Collaborate with other faculty as needed
  • Demonstrate a commitment to serving and inspiring students in an academic context that integrates your Christian faith and learning.
  • Embrace the mission, vision , and values of Fresno Pacific University, affirm the FPU Faith Expectations , and support the ideals and practices articulated in " The Fresno Pacific Idea "
