About The Position

The University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock, Arkansas, is accepting applications for a part-time faculty position in Nutrition. This position requires a commitment to teaching in a dynamic community college setting and the ability to interact with and respond to the broad-ranging needs of an academically and culturally diverse campus. Courses may be online or in person, depending upon campus need. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A master’s degree in nutrition/dietetics with at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline is required.
• Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
• Familiarity with technology used in classroom settings.
• Ability to utilize web-based educational technology.
• Flexibility to teach day, evening, and weekend classes.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in a community college setting involving a diverse student body.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, implement, and assess the curriculum to ensure that students are acquiring current knowledge.
• Utilize web-based educational technology.
• Teach day, evening, and weekend classes.
• Teach at off-campus sites and involve alternative delivery methods.
