Adjunct Faculty - General Chemistry Lab
About The Position
Bellarmine University is seeking candidates capable of teaching general chemistry, including laboratories designed for science majors, nonscience majors, and health science majors. The ideal candidate will be familiar with general chemistry instrumentation. Class day and times are flexible based on the availability of the instructor. A General Chemistry Lab Instructor facilitates hands-on laboratory sessions, instructing students on safety, experimental procedures, and equipment usage. Key duties include preparing lab materials, grading reports, enforcing safety protocols, and supporting lecture concepts. This role generally requires a degree in chemistry and strong communication skills. Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.
Requirements
- Familiarity with general chemistry instrumentation
- MS in Chemistry
- Appropriate teaching experience
- Strong communication skills
