About The Position

The University of Fredericton (UFred), a recognized degree-granting institution in New Brunswick and ACBSP-accredited, is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach Finance courses in its Accelerated MBA (AMBA) program. The programs are delivered fully online and are designed for working professionals seeking flexible, high-quality graduate business education. AMBA courses are 7 weeks in duration and are delivered fully online throughout the year, including synchronous online instruction.

Requirements

• PhD or DBA from a recognized Canadian university, with a specialization in Finance or Accounting.
• 5+ years of post-secondary teaching experience.
• Demonstrated academic and/or professional expertise in Finance.
• Ability to connect finance theory with contemporary business practice and managerial decision-making.

Nice To Haves

• Doctoral degree from an AACSB- or ACBSP-accredited business school.
• Online teaching experience in Canadian or U.S. higher education, particularly with MBA or executive learners.
• Relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, investment management, financial analysis, or consulting.
• Experience with curriculum development, AI-enabled learning, or experiential learning.
• Canadian CPA designation.
• CFA designation.
