About The Position

This role is responsible for teaching FILM 421 - Advanced Film Seminar. This is a seminar course designed to address advanced topics in filmmaking and ongoing thesis production workshops. The seminar will provide a focused learning experience designed to enhance thesis productions conceptually and artistically. Students will use a colloquium as a forum for discussing important digital filmmaking issues for the future of aspiring filmmakers. This section of FILM 421 explores advanced concepts in acting, directing, and screenwriting.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree that demonstrates expertise appropriate for teaching a course/s listed in this announcement OR a 4-year professional degree (BFA) in art or design and equivalent expertise, training and experience, with an appropriate record of professional creative achievement.
  • Professional portfolio demonstrating skills and experience in the curricular area.
