About The Position
Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several part-time, adjunct teaching positions in the English & Modern Languages discipline. These part-time positions will primarily teach in-person classes on our main campus unless otherwise specified. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and while there may not be an immediate opening, applications are regularly reviewed for future opportunities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in a related discipline
- College teaching experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with learning management system (e.g. Canvas)
- Experience with content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia and other e-learning tools
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in the English & Modern Languages discipline
- Regular, predictable attendance on campus (for in-person classes)
- Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap
- Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned
