About The Position
The Education Department at Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct faculty positions in Elementary Education. These positions are estimated to be up to 20 hours per week. The department is in the ongoing process of enhancing its curriculum to better prepare future educators for today’s diverse classrooms, utilizing assessments, feedback from the field, and collective expertise. The department offers both undergraduate and graduate programs and holds CAEP accreditation for all educator preparation programs. The department strives to prepare education professionals who explore the dynamic nature of teaching and learning, demonstrate professional and ethical behaviors, understand the world from multiple perspectives, and contribute to a just and equitable world.
Requirements
- Earned master’s degree in education or related field by August 1, 2026
- Minimum of five years full-time teaching experience in elementary education settings in schools

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver course content for credit courses
- Prepare lesson plans and course materials
- Assess student learning
- Assign grades, refer students to support services
- Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students
