About The Position

The Department of Humanities and Communication at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University seeks adjunct instructors to teach composition, technical writing, and/or speech classes during Fall 2026. All courses will be face-to-face on our Daytona Beach campus. Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 graduate credits in English, rhetoric and composition, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. or M.A. in English, Communication, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience teaching college-level writing or speech.

Responsibilities

  • Teach composition, technical writing, and/or speech classes during Fall 2026.
  • Conduct all courses face-to-face on the Daytona Beach campus.
