About The Position

College of DuPage believes in the power of teaching and learning. We seek adjunct faculty members to teach Dental Hygiene. Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the field and/or a combination of education, training and tested experience required for didactic courses.
• Minimum of an associate’s degree in applied sciences/ dental hygiene required for lab and clinic courses.
• Experience in teaching dental assistant or dental hygiene students.
• Minimum 3 years clinical dental hygiene experience.
• Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current dental hygiene license in the State of Illinois.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR intended for healthcare providers.
• Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
• Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats.
• Student evaluation.
• Timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
