Clinical Mental Health Counseling adjunct faculty are responsible for instructing and facilitating meaningful learning of the course outcomes in the curriculum and proactively supporting all facets of the learning environment adhering to South University’s mission and CACREP standards. This role promotes a student-centered learning environment that prepares graduates to fulfill the evolving needs of the marketplace. Faculty are expected to foster a culture that values mutual responsibility and respect, life-long learning, diversity, and ethics as well as personal and professional development. In fulfilling their responsibilities, faculty should embody South University’s core values, including a commitment to delivering high quality service to students; fostering the development, growth, engagement, and recognition of employees; and cultivating an environment conducive to innovation, positive thinking, and growth. Additionally, faculty are encouraged to participate in activities that promote the stature of the academic programs, departments, and colleges, while adhering to the directives of the South University Board of Trustees and administration.
