Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing with BNA Instructor Train the Trainer Course Certification or Bachelor's degree in Nursing with 4 CEU's of approved Alzheimer's Training or BNA Instructor Train the Trainer Course Certification or MSN with 4 CEU's of approved Alzheimer's Training or BNA Instructor Train the Trainer Course Certification is required.
- Two years of experience as a registered nurse (RN).
- Must have experience as a RN in at least one of the following areas: 1. teaching theory in an accredited nurse training program; or 2. providing nursing care, including personal care and activities of daily living, to older adults or chronically ill adults is required.
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse License is required.
- Current AHA BLS healthcare provider certification is required.
- Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred.
Responsibilities
- Course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
- Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats.
- Student evaluation.
- Timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
