About The Position

Midland University, a private, faith-based, liberal-arts college in Fremont, Nebraska, is seeking exceptional faculty members to teach Project Management in our undergraduate business program. The class will run in-person (no online option available) during the Fall session 2026: August 24-December 13. The class is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30-1:50 pm. Professionals with extensive practical experience and an interest in engaging students are encouraged to apply, regardless of previous classroom experience. Applications for this position will be accepted until the position is filled. Cover letters are strongly encouraged. Project Management (PM) is increasingly important in today's world. This course covers the fundamental concepts and applied techniques for cost-effective management of both long-term development programs and short-term projects. The content deals with planning, scheduling, organizing, and controlling projects. The course uses cases from a wide variety of industries, including construction, information systems, non-profit organizations, the government, and the military.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a business-related field
  • Experience in project management
  • Interest and experience engaging students through classroom learning
  • Desire and availability to be quickly responsive to students

  • Experience working with a learning management system such as Blackboard or Canvas to develop and deliver course content
