Compensation: $675/credit hour Worksite Location: South Campus/Online Courses Overview / Job Summary: The Adjunct Faculty, Business Administration position entails teaching undergraduate courses related to business administration. In this role, you will be expected to deliver engaging, effective instruction that aligns with course syllabi and program objectives. You will help prepare students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in business careers.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a closely related field, OR a Master’s Degree plus 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline, required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact professionally with students, faculty, and administrative staff.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be available for assigned course schedules and complete new faculty orientation within one semester of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant industry or equivalent business experience in the areas of marketing, management, communications, or economics is a plus.
  • Prior teaching or training experience in adult education is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and educational technologies is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and/or uploading a detailed course syllabus into the Learning Management System for each assigned course.
  • Delivering instruction using approved teaching methodologies, ensuring courses are conducted as scheduled.
  • Maintaining accurate grading, attendance, and student progress records within required timelines.
  • Evaluating student performance to measure their achievement of course competencies.
  • Communicating course requirements, updates, and expectations clearly to students.
  • Collaborating with department leadership to recommend instructional materials and suggest curriculum improvements as appropriate.
