About The Position

Teach courses in the biological sciences in keeping with the candidate’s specialization and departmental needs. We commonly have openings to teach introductory biology, environmental science, human anatomy, human physiology, and microbiology. Requirements

  • Effective teaching and pedagogy practices
  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in biology or a related field required
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • College teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Teach concepts and processes in biology, environmental science, human anatomy, human physiology, or microbiology.
  • Teach laboratory sections that accompany lecture courses.
  • Prepare lectures, assignments, and exams.
  • Provide availability for meetings with students outside of class time.
  • Contribute to an academic environment that seeks to advance inclusive excellence in the department and the discipline.
