The Department of Music at Wingate University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Voice beginning Fall 2026. This is a part-time position to teach applied voice lessons to music majors, minors, and non-majors.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Voice Performance, Vocal Pedagogy, or a closely related field is required
Demonstrated success in vocal instruction at the collegiate or pre-collegiate level
Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population, including music majors, minors, and non-majors
Familiarity with a wide range of vocal repertoire and pedagogical approaches
Candidates with legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Teach individual voice lessons across various skill levels and musical backgrounds
Provide constructive feedback to support student development in vocal technique, repertoire, and performance
Prepare students for juries, recitals, and other departmental performance requirements
Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
Others duties may be assigned
