About The Position
Bergen Community College is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach Economics courses for the Spring 2026 semester. We are looking for dedicated educators who can deliver high-quality instruction in both traditional and partially online learning environments. Candidates must be available to teach in either modality (fully in-person or hybrid) and demonstrate flexibility in adapting their pedagogical approach to meet the needs of diverse learning environments.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Economics or a closely related field.
- Availability to teach morning classes.
- Availability to teach afternoon classes.
- Ability to teach in a fully in-person instruction modality.
- Ability to teach in a hybrid format (combination of in-person and online asynchronous components).
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of college-level teaching experience.
- Experience with hybrid or online instruction formats.
- Familiarity with Canvas.
