About The Position
The Department of Behavior Analysis at the University of North Texas is seeking qualified individuals to join its Adjunct Instructor Pool. This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. The specific courses may vary, and openings depend on departmental needs. Adjuncts may teach courses within our undergraduate, M.S., or M.A. degree programs. Behavior Analysis is a natural science that examines the impact of environmental factors on individual behavior, with applications across diverse populations and settings such as classrooms, corporations, government institutions, health facilities, animal shelters, zoos, and homes. A knowledge of behavior analytic principles can benefit students in fields like social work, special education, health sciences, and neuroscience. The University of North Texas is a diverse campus that welcomes candidates with experience with HSI/MSIs and/or those who speak Spanish, Vietnamese, American Sign Language, Chinese, Arabic, Tagalog, Farsi, French, or Yoruba.
Requirements
- Adjuncts teaching graduate-level courses must have a Ph.D.
- Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching, preferably in an online setting.
- Experience working in a Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard or Canvas).
- Relevant clinical experience.
Responsibilities
