About The Position
The Department of Behavior Analysis at the University of North Texas (UNT) is seeking qualified individuals to join its Adjunct Instructor Pool. This position is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters. The specific courses taught may vary and openings depend on departmental needs. Adjuncts may teach courses within the undergraduate, M.S., or M.A. degree programs. Behavior Analysis is a natural science that examines the influence of the environment on individual behavior, with principles applicable to diverse populations and settings such as classrooms, corporations, government institutions, health institutions, animal shelters, zoos, and homes. Knowledge of behavior analytic principles can benefit students in fields like social work, special education, rehabilitation and addictions, health sciences, computer science and gaming, and neuroscience.
Requirements
- Adjuncts teaching graduate-level courses must have a Ph.D.
- Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Applicants must submit a minimum of two professional references as part of their application.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching, preferably in an online setting.
- Experience working in a Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard or Canvas).
- Relevant clinical experience.
