About The Position

The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton (UACCM) is seeking an Adjunct Automotive Service Technology Instructor. This temporary, fixed-term position involves teaching assigned classes, providing student support, maintaining professional skills, managing course documentation, and demonstrating professionalism. The instructor will be responsible for ensuring a syllabus is on file, completing required reports, and performing other duties as assigned by the Dean and/or Vice Chancellor for Academics.

Requirements

Seven years of relevant work-related experience in the automotive industry.
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

Possess an Associate's degree, or higher, in a relevant field.
Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of the minimum qualifications upon approval of the Chancellor.

Responsibilities

Teach classes as assigned by the appropriate Academic Dean.
Meet each class for the full duration of each scheduled class period.
Provide availability to students a sufficient amount of time out of class to meet the students’ needs for assistance with course work.
Maintain skills and knowledge within his or her area.
Attend required professional development activities on campus and can attend activities off campus.
Maintain updated documents and grades in the current LMS and will submit grades in a timely manner as required by the Registrar’s Office.
Ensure that a syllabus for each course taught is on file in the office of the appropriate Academic Dean and that any revisions made are on file.
Demonstrate consistent professionalism and commitment to working cooperatively with all campus personnel.
Complete any required reports within the prescribed time frame.
Other duties as assigned by the Dean and/or Vice Chancellor for Academics.
