About The Position

This Adjunct Associate Professor position is a part-time appointment (0.40 FTE , 2 days per week) expected to engage in clinical pediatric dentistry educational activities in the graduate and DDS programs. The part-time faculty member will provide clinical coverage of DDS students and pediatric dentistry residents two days per week, including the DDS and graduate pediatric clinics at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry and affiliated community clinic locations. Successful applicants will be experienced clinicians, with demonstrated experience and interest in teaching, and should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, leadership traits, and a commitment to inclusivity and collegiality.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated work experience in a comparable academic/clinical setting.
• Previous experience in a public health setting or community-based dental clinic is highly preferred.
