About The Position
The Art History Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach undergraduate courses during the 2026-2027 academic year. The courses include Painting I/Painting III, Synthesis: Mixed Media Studio in Fall 2026, and Drawing Studio in Spring 2027. This appointment may include work performed outside of the classroom, such as course preparation, attending meetings, course assessment, grading assignments and exams, and resolving incomplete or disputed grades.
Requirements
- Terminal degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred.
