About The Position
The Carthage College Art & Design Department is currently accepting applications for adjunct studio art faculty for the 2026 fall semester. The positions begin August 26 and end December 11. Applicants may apply to teach 1-3 courses. The courses offered are ART 1071 FOUNDATIONS, MATERIALS: Objects+Space, ART 2000 Drawing I, ART 2750: 4D Video Art & Sound, and ART 3000 Advanced Drawing (involves figure drawing). These courses meet twice per week for 3 hours each class period. Opportunities for 1-3 classes in the 2026-27 spring semester are likely for hired applicants.
