About The Position

The Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science Department at Pitt has state-of-the-art research and educational facilities and strong connections to local industry. Requirements

  • Hold a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a three-credit graduate course, MEMS 2045: Linear Control Systems offered in the fall semester to an expected enrollment of approximately 15 students.
  • Deliver course content and evaluation of students through assignments, quizzes, and exams as needed.
  • Maintain office hours.
  • Coordinate with the Swanson School of Engineering to ensure alignment with departmental standards and learning objectives.
