About The Position

The Department of English invites applications for part-time instructors to teach introductory and general education courses in literature and creative writing. All areas of specialization are welcome, especially African-American literature, Asian-American literature, and prose fiction writing. Requirements

  • Master's degree in English or a closely related field.
  • Background screening.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD or ABD in English is preferred for literature courses.
  • A PhD or MFA is preferred for creative writing courses.
  • Previous teaching experience is highly desired.
