About The Position

The Adjunct Anatomy & Physiology instructor plays a critical role in delivering high-quality education to students pursuing health sciences and related fields. This position is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive course content that covers human anatomy and physiology, ensuring students gain a deep understanding of the structure and function of the human body. The instructor will facilitate engaging lectures, laboratory sessions, and assessments that promote active learning and critical thinking. By fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, the instructor helps students develop the foundational knowledge necessary for advanced study or professional practice. Ultimately, this role contributes to the academic success and professional readiness of students within the institution.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy and physiology with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.
• Experience teaching anatomy and physiology at the post-secondary level, preferably in a college or university setting.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple course components simultaneously.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures and laboratory sessions on human anatomy and physiology in accordance with the curriculum standards.
• Develop and grade assessments, including exams, quizzes, and lab reports, to evaluate student understanding and progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and address individual learning needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and participation in compliance with institutional policies.
• Collaborate with department faculty and staff to continuously improve course materials and teaching methodologies.
