About The Position

Colorado Christian University is seeking Affiliate Faculty for its PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision program. This teaching-focused role requires an earned doctorate in counselor education, preferably from a CACREP-accredited program, and the ability to integrate Christian faith into the classroom. Courses are primarily offered in an accelerated, blended format (synchronous and asynchronous) for adult learners within a year-round program. This is not a full-time position. Affiliate faculty are paid on a per-class contract basis and are classified as affiliate employees, not regular part-time employees. They are eligible to participate in the 403(b) plan but do not receive matching contributions or other CCU benefits. Successful candidates will join the CAGS Affiliate Faculty pool and be vetted to teach courses based on qualifications and experience, with course assignments dependent on student enrollment and faculty availability in their expertise area. Affiliates are required to complete faculty development training, including a series of badges, to remain in the teaching pool.
