The Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado invites applications for the position of Cleft Clinic Pediatrician at the Instructor level in the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology. The Cleft Clinic Pediatrician will practice in Colorado Springs, CO. Colorado Springs is a wonderful place to live and is rated one of the top cities for families and for lifestyle. Requirements

  • CO state medical license
  • At least 2 years of prior experience as a pediatrician

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a pediatric cleft multidisciplinary clinic
  • Proficiency working with Epic EMR system

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with cleft lip and palette conditions, including new patient consultation and follow-up care in the multidisciplinary outpatient clinic at Briargate, as well as telephone follow-up and triage.
  • Function in collaboration with the Briargate Cleft Clinic team.
  • Participate in care conferences as part of the multidisciplinary Cleft Clinic team.
  • Complete patient encounter documentation within CHCO and CU Medicine guidelines and bill for all services provided via CU Medicine.
