Requirements
- Associate degree in technical discipline AND six months to one year experience/training; OR a Technical Apprenticeship with Certification or Journeyman Card AND six months to one year experience/training; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience OR a minimum of 5 years in a technical position.
- Minimum 5 years of automated manufacturing technical experience required.
- Robust understanding in robotics programming.
- Strong organizational, communications and problem-solving skills required.
- Skilled in using PC and complex software including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
- Basic understanding of 1K and 2K Sealer Systems: Pneumatic pumps, Hoses (some heated), Shot meter (doser), Inlet/Outlet (dispense) valves.

- Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis is desired.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of R&D projects and evaluate new technologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Support product and process development, with emphasis on adhesive and sealer applications.
- Collaborate with production teams and technical experts to generate ideas, conduct trials, and implement solutions.
- Develop, review, and strengthen systems and controls, including linking failures to FMEAs, Control Plans, and customer requirements.
- Monitor performance through audits, documentation, and analysis; identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality (QS9000), maintenance (preventive/predictive), and safety standards, while supporting additional duties as needed.
