About The Position

KeyStone Center, located in Chester, Pennsylvania, offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults. The facility is conveniently located five miles south of the Philadelphia Airport. The Addictions Counselor provides direct patient care, monitoring and delivering high-quality services to dually diagnosed/chemically dependent patients. This role involves creating a safe and therapeutic environment, assessing and documenting patient progress, delivering individual and group educational services, providing crisis intervention, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient treatment plan objectives. Requirements

• A Bachelor or Associates degree in a related mental health discipline from an accredited college
• High School Diploma or equivalent with experience in a chemical dependency and or mental health treatment setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care
• Monitor and deliver high quality services to dually diagnosed/chemically dependent patients
• Provide a safe and therapeutic milieu
• Assess and document progress/digress in treatment
• Deliver individual and group educational services
• Provide crisis intervention
• Fully participate with the multidisciplinary team toward meeting a patient's treatment plan objectives
