The Addictions Counselor provides direct patient care, monitoring and delivering high-quality services to dually diagnosed/chemically dependent patients. This role involves creating a safe and therapeutic environment, assessing and documenting patient progress, delivering individual and group educational services, providing crisis intervention, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient treatment plan objectives.
