This Per Diem/PRN position is typically for evenings from 3:30pm to 12am. It requires a High School Diploma or GED. Previous addiction treatment, recovery support, or lived recovery experience is preferred. Certified Recovery Specialists (CRS) are encouraged to apply. The role involves monitoring and supporting patients, facilitating recovery-oriented activities, assisting with groups and meetings, and providing documentation. The specialist will support patients during evenings and weekends, help de-escalate emotional reactions, collect bio-psycho-social data, complete initial family contacts, provide orientation to new patients, monitor patients during free time and prepare them for bed, and communicate significant events. Work is performed in a clinical environment, and the employee is accountable for job-specific obligations and organizational policies.
