About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. We are seeking an Addiction Recovery Professional at Indiana State Prison in Michigan City, Indiana. Under the supervision of the Facility Director of Addiction Recovery Services (ARS) and in collaboration with multidisciplinary team, the Addiction Recovery Professional conducts comprehensive substance use assessments and provides group and individual counseling for patients participating in addiction services. This licensed professional will follow patient progress from a clinical standpoint from enrollment to discharge from addiction recovery treatment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human services field preferred
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Consultant II (CADAC II+, LAC, LAC-A, LSW) or higher certification/licensure or the ability to obtain within 24 months of hiring date
- Must show/obtain current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR, first-aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use certification
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
