About The Position
We are seeking an approachable, compassionate physician leader with the ability to guide a team through structured, evidence-based care and has a deep commitment to mental health and addiction medicine. You will participate in Quarterly Board Meetings to help shape strategic plans, quality assurance initiatives, and clinical protocols, ensuring that patient needs drive our organizational growth. Champion Holistic Health: Recognizing that addiction is just one piece of the puzzle, you will actively guide patients toward comprehensive wellness, seamlessly coordinating referrals to primary care providers for broader medical needs.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of operation.
- Active DEA Registration (Schedules II, III C) with the ability/waiver to prescribe buprenorphine.
- Active Medicaid & Medicare credentials.
- Strong working knowledge of mental health/substance use treatments, Federal Confidentiality Laws, and HIPAA.
- Basic proficiency in standard computer applications (Microsoft Office / Google Workspace) and electronic medical records.
Nice To Haves
- Board Certification: Addiction Medicine (ABPM) or Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP/ABPN)
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in Substance Use or Addiction Medicine
Responsibilities
