Addiction Medicine Physician
About The Position
We are seeking an Addiction Medicine Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Omaha, NE. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services and is needed for supplemental coverage on an ongoing basis starting ASAP. The physician will be responsible for clinical duties and call. The shift schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, with call duties on Fridays from 5 pm to 7 am and weekends from Saturday 7 am to Sunday 7 am. The facility handles approximately 3600 IP/OP surgeries annually, with a case mix including Ortho, L&D, Spine, GI, GYN, Urology, Cath Lab, Int Rad, Bariatric, Bypass, and Minimal Vascular procedures. Support staff includes Anesthesia providers, CRNA, and Anesthesia Tech. The EMR system used is Epic.
Requirements
- Active NE License or IMLC
- Board Certified (BC)
- BLS certification
- DEA certification
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in call duties, including weekday and weekend coverage.
- Manage a case mix including Ortho, L&D, Spine, GI, GYN, Urology, Cath Lab, Int Rad, Bariatric, Bypass, and Minimal Vascular procedures.
- Collaborate with support staff including Anesthesia providers, CRNA, and Anesthesia Tech.
- Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation.
