About The Position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced and motivated ADC Engineer to join the AWS Identity & Access team. This team is responsible for building and delivering the next generation of cloud computing security, supporting public AWS offerings like S3, EC2, and CloudFront. The role involves innovating new ways of building massively scalable distributed security systems, including identity management, federation, web services security, and single sign-on. The engineer will be instrumental in deploying, operating, and scaling a massive always-on distributed system that is core to all of AWS. This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work after starting.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or above, or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
• 3+ years Linux systems administration experience
• 3+ years technical troubleshooting / support experience
• 2+ years of networking experience (TCP/IP)
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
