Ford Motor Company is hiring an ADAS Feature Verification & Validation Engineer in Dearborn, Michigan. This is a hybrid position, with work performed both from home and at the Dearborn worksite; employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance. The role develops, plans, and executes verification and validation methods for Clear Exit Assist (CEA) and Low Speed BLIS (LSBLS) ADAS features across Ford and Lincoln vehicles. It leads feature validation, including in-vehicle testing at test tracks and on public roads, and supports validation across program milestones. The engineer defines feature calibrations and releases them into ADAS software, works with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues found during testing, in plants, and in the field, and supports timely vehicle launches. The role also advances virtual validation using tools such as HIL and Breadboard to reduce in-vehicle testing, documents feature gaps and recurrence-prevention actions, shares lessons learned, and authors customer-facing Owner’s Manual and Dealership Workshop Repair Manual documentation. The engineer monitors feature quality and implements improvements. Domestic travel of up to 10% is required.
