About The Position

The Advance Driver Assistance Technology (ADAS) team develops state-of-the-art software and algorithms to deliver best-in-class features like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and 360 camera systems. ADAS also developed Ford's industry-first Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, securing over 60 patents in the process. The team is responsible for the full end-to-end delivery of these features into production on all Ford vehicle lines. This position involves integrating AUTOSAR modules, including MCAL, BSW, COM, LDCOM, RTE, and SWCs, using ETAS tools or Vector DaVinci Configurator and DaVinci Developer. The role includes SWC composition implementation, Classic AUTOSAR RTE configuration using ETAS toolchain, integration of application SWC ARXML, and App-BSW Interface integration. Responsibilities also include unit and integration testing of generated RTE. Domestic and International Travel is required up to 10%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• 4 years of experience with Applying Embedded Engineering concepts in working with microcontrollers and SW development tools.
• 4 years of experience with Utilizing C concepts to develop ECU and microcontroller firmware.
• 4 years of experience with Utilizing SW unit test tools, including GTest or VectorCast, to verify SW units developed.
• 4 years of experience with Applying AUTOSAR to develop SW based on the requirements defined in specifications.
• 4 years of experience with Using Automotive protocol simulation, replay, bus monitoring, and calibration tools, including CANape and CANoe, to monitor vehicle bus traffic and trigger communication from simulation tool for testing ECU focus.
• 4 years of experience with Using AUTOSAR BSW tool chains, including Vector DaVinci, to configure and generate software files.
• 4 years of experience with Applying Automotive SW development process (ASPICE or ISO26262) to adhere to automotive software standards.
• 4 years of experience with Building process for SW development using compilers, Linker design, and debuggers.
• 3 years of experience with Utilizing GitHub or IBM ClearCase for source code management.
• 3 years of experience with Utilizing DOORS, PTC Integrity or JAMA for requirement management and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AUTOSAR modules, including MCAL, BSW, COM, LDCOM, RTE, and SWCs, using ETAS tools or Vector DaVinci Configurator and DaVinci Developer.
