About The Position

EdTheory is hiring a passionate and dedicated Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Teacher to join our expanding team in Morgan Hill, California. This role involves delivering high-quality adaptive physical education services to individuals and families, significantly improving the lives of those with developmental delays, injuries, and other conditions.

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Adaptive Physical Education or a closely related field.
  • Hold or be eligible for current state licensure/credential as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher.
  • Knowledge of IEPs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality adaptive physical education services to individuals and families.
  • Improve the lives of those with developmental delays, injuries, and other conditions.
  • Adapt activities to meet individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with special education teams, therapists, and school staff.
