About The Position

We are seeking a software engineer with 5+ years of Ada programming experience developing embedded real-time flight software. This role requires experience supporting aerospace or defence programs, mission-critical systems, avionics, weapons systems, radar systems, military aircraft, or government programs. Experience with Agile development, Git, Jira, Confluence, software testing, defect resolution, and multi-threaded applications is essential. An active, inactive, eligible, or obtainable Secret or Top Secret clearance is required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with embedded (real-time) software development.
• 5+ years of Ada programming experience developing embedded real-time flight software.
• Experience supporting aerospace or defence programs, mission-critical systems, avionics, weapons systems, radar systems, military aircraft, or government programs.
• Agile development experience.
• Git.
• Jira.
• Confluence.
• Software testing.
• Defect resolution.
• Multi-threaded applications.
• Secret or Top Secret clearance active, inactive, eligible, or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software components and functions.
• Support the development of software functional requirements.
• Contribute to software architecture trades and revise existing architecture.
• Specify internal and external software interfaces.
• Conduct software test-driven development.
• Conduct and support peer reviews on all software life cycle data.
• Contribute to the success of an Agile development team.
• Support sprint planning and meet sprint commitments.
