About The Position

Roku is seeking an Ad Measurement Lead to join its Ad Measurement team. This role will be integral in building ad measurement and research strategy, focusing on Enterprise, Political, Advocacy & Government (PAG), and Independent verticals. The position involves developing and executing analytics, research, and measurement projects to support advertiser success on Roku. The ideal candidate will be adept at creative problem-solving, understanding business objectives, comfortable with data, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit to address challenges for both internal and external stakeholders. The role operates in a fast-paced, autonomous environment requiring minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to invent new solutions. Excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities are essential. Candidates will be expected to build end-to-end processes for new solutions, from scoping to repeatability. Leadership, collaboration, and partnership with colleagues and external partners are key. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in ad measurement methodologies with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations and strong client management skills. A passion for the political and advocacy landscape is a plus. The role involves developing a proactive learning agenda to elevate clients' measurement strategy and representing Roku's measurement capabilities in client presentations. An AI-first mindset is essential, demonstrating proficiency in using AI tools and agents to drive efficiency and scale across measurement workflows, including campaign analysis, insight generation, and process automation.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years' experience in campaign analytics, attribution, measurement, or research.
  • Experience in leveraging AI for analysis, productivity, and workflow automation.
  • Ability to run analyses utilizing SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work with ambiguous data to create insights that reflect strong business judgment.
  • Speak comfortably in a variety of settings including one-on-one and in front of large groups with the ability to adapt communication style for different audiences.
  • Present comfortably to senior-level clients independently.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build close relationships within and across teams.
  • Ability to work independently with agility and prioritize effectively with a strong sense of urgency.

Nice To Haves

  • Media experience (TV, video, digital) is preferred.
  • Experience in designing conversion studies leveraging client 1P data, including familiarity with pixel-based attribution, CAPI, and MMP integration, is preferred.
  • Experience in ad effectiveness studies with third-party measurement vendors such as Nielsen, comScore, iSpot, Experian, Kantar, InMarket, etc. is preferred.
  • Experience in A/B testing, incrementality measurement, MTA (Multi-Touch Attribution), MMM (Media Mix Model) is preferred.
  • Experience working in the measurement space for major political advertisers, including pulling political insights, developing thought leadership, and executing campaign measurement is preferred.
  • A passion for the political and advocacy landscape is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with advertisers and agencies to create measurement plans that test advertising effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with the agency analytics team.
  • Independently lead quantitative and qualitative studies from start-to-finish, including scoping study feasibility, performing data analysis, generating reports, and presenting results both internally and externally.
  • Manage relationships with third-party measurement providers and work with internal stakeholders to onboard and integrate new providers.
  • Partner closely with marketing, sales, client service, product, partnerships, and more to execute strategic initiatives and develop scalable solutions to industry challenges.
  • Conduct meta-analyses and create case studies utilizing third-party measurement data to educate clients, the market, and internal product and analytics teams.
  • Continuously challenge and improve existing measurement solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior teammates through knowledge sharing and training.
