About The Position

We’re looking for an Ad Copywriter to support the creation and scaling of performance marketing creative at Kikoff. This is a highly execution-focused role centered on producing high-quality ad copy and scripts at speed across paid social, TV and other channels. You’ll work closely with Creative, Growth, and Production teams to turn briefs, insights, and winning patterns into new ad concepts quickly and consistently. You enjoy thinking about ad strategy at the execution level — understanding why certain hooks, angles, and formats perform, and applying those learnings across new creative. Success in this role means shipping a high volume of strong ad concepts, iterating fast, and helping the team scale what performs well.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in advertising, performance marketing, social content, or copywriting roles.
  • Strong creative writing skills and a passion for storytelling, the creative process, and solving puzzles.
  • Proven track record of concepting, writing, and producing ads that convert.
  • Familiar in using AI tools for creative production (e.g., VEO 3, Sora 2, Higgsfield, Midjourney, etc.).
  • Understanding of social and performance marketing channels, from TikTok and YouTube to Meta and CTV.
  • Creative and analytical in equal measure—you can identify what works and why, then scale it.
  • Obsessed with culture, trends, and storytelling that connects with real people.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with direct response creative, user acquisition campaigns, or B2C brands.
  • Experience writing for fintech, financial services, or highly-regulated industries.
  • Experience briefing content creators.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the ideation, scripting, and creative development of high-performing creatives across digital and paid channels.
  • Monitor creative performance, analyze results, and iterate quickly based on learnings to surface insights and optimize creative direction.
  • Write high-performing ad copy and scripts across paid social, video, display, and emerging formats
  • Translate creative briefs, performance data, audience insights, and winning hooks into new ad variants effectively and efficiently.
  • Support ongoing creative testing by producing multiple versions of concepts, hooks, and messaging angles.
  • Partner with designers, video editors, and content creators to bring ads from script to final asset.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate copy generation, concept expansion, and variant creation.
  • Maintain strong organization across multiple concurrent campaigns and deliverables.
  • Contribute to brainstorms and concept development while primarily focusing on execution and output.
