About The Position

Solventum enables clinicians to not only treat wounds, but to advance healing. As an Acute Wound Healing Specialist, you will serve as a consultative wound healing expert and primary point of contact for hospital wound care decision makers. You will educate clinicians, support therapy adoption, expand utilization of Solventum solutions, and help coordinate patient transition of care. Requirements

  • Requires the use of a personal vehicle for company business and participation in Solventum’s Fixed and Variable Reimbursement, or FAVR, program.
  • As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a pre-hire motor vehicle record, or MVR, review and maintain ongoing eligibility, including compliance with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign-off.
  • Ongoing monitoring of motor vehicle history will be conducted.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND two years of sales and/or clinical experience OR High School Diploma/GED or higher AND four years of sales and/or clinical experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status, including H1B status.

  • Proven track record of sales quota and target attainment
  • Prior wound care or medical device sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong customer relationships with key influencers, including surgeons and clinical decision makers
  • Experience with territory management and business planning
  • Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across care settings
  • Customer-focused selling and closing experience
  • Experience navigating complex selling cycles
  • Completion of a formal sales training program
  • Experience using a CRM, such as Salesforce
  • Experience supporting new product introductions and navigating the value analysis process
  • Strong data and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Consulting with clinicians on the safe and effective use of Solventum products
  • Attending procedures and product placements in hospital care settings
  • Delivering sustainable business growth by achieving sales targets through effective account and territory management
  • Identifying customer clinical, financial, and operational priorities and recommending appropriate solutions
  • Educating clinicians through product training, in-servicing, and ongoing clinical support
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders
  • Using clinical and economic evidence to support therapy adoption, including advanced solutions and new product introductions
  • Influencing key stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products
  • Providing responsive customer support and service
  • Demonstrating proficiency upon successful completion of the sales training program
  • Leveraging company software and tools for planning, pipeline management, and utilization tracking
  • Representing Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums
  • Complying with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
