About The Position

Our Endoscopy unit offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient cases, providing RNs with the opportunity to build strong clinical versatility. The team operates across five endoscopy procedure rooms, supporting a high volume of both routine and specialized cases. RNs enjoy the chance to work in pre‑procedure, intra‑procedure, and post‑recovery phases, gaining well‑rounded experience across the full continuum of GI care. Requirements

2 years High School Education
Age 17 with work permit
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Reading and math ability appropriate to the position

Nice To Haves

Experience as an STNA, PCA or ACT strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Performs and documents basic patient care tasks under RN supervision; maintains competency in trained skills, completes assignments on time, and seeks clarification when needed.
Maintains a safe, clean environment by reporting hazards, following Infection Control policies, completing safety event reports, and adhering to safety and emergency procedures.
Communicates effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and team members; reports patient information and assignment issues promptly; documents observations accurately; collaborates with the healthcare team and uses the chain of command appropriately.
Supports unit operations by performing supply, equipment, and environmental tasks; reports shortages or equipment problems and ensures supplies/equipment are ready for the next user.
Demonstrates accountability and commitment to self‑growth; identifies areas for improvement and supports organizational and unit changes.
