Foundation Health Partners (FHP) is seeking an Acute Care Surgicalist to join our highly experienced team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. The Opportunity: Step into a high-functioning Acute Care Surgery team at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, where you’ll practice the full breadth of emergency general surgery in a setting that balances complexity, autonomy, and true schedule flexibility. Our surgeons manage everything from pediatric and thoracic emergencies to major trauma, backed by a robust blood bank and reliable 24/7 in-house support services. You’ll have the opportunity to perform a wide range of cases while benefiting from a practice model that allows you to fully sign out when your shift ends, giving you the freedom to enjoy everything Alaska has to offer outside of work. Responsibilities

Phone call with 30-minute response time during shifts.
Consults from urgent care, emergency department, and inpatient services.
Emergency and urgent surgery.
Emergency endoscopy.
Inpatient rounding and day-to-day management of admitted patients.
Follow-up care and consults in the outpatient clinic.
