The Acute Care Resident RN independently uses the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire
- Texas Registered Nurse License, or Texas Graduate Nurse Permit Upon hire
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less.
