About The Position

We are seeking an Acute Care Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment in Lubbock, TX. Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license as required by state regulations
• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Physical Therapy experience
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently in an acute care setting

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for acute care patients
• Assess patient mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and overall function
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and discharge recommendations
• Document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress accurately in the medical record
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and professional practice standards
