About The Position

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a dedicated full-time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their dynamic Critical Care team. This is a night-shift position (8 PM to 6 AM) operating on a convenient 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule. The float role offers the opportunity to work across multiple locations, including Cobb, Douglas, Kennestone, and Paulding Medical Centers, with nightly location based on patient acuity and census needs, primarily scheduled at either Cobb or Kennestone for the week. As a key member of the interdisciplinary team, the practitioner will collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients and their families. Requirements

Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant
Active or eligible for a GA State Medical License

Responsibilities

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients and their families
Conduct comprehensive assessments
Document histories and physicals
Prepare daily progress notes
Complete discharge summaries
Interpret diagnostic imaging
Formulate care plans
Write orders
Perform procedures such as central and arterial line placements
Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure understanding and support
