As an Acute Care Nurse Supervisor, you'll lead and manage operations during assigned shifts, ensuring exceptional patient care and compliance with Critical Access hospital standards. Your leadership will directly influence patient outcomes and team success.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of acute care clinical experience
Current RN license in Montana (or compact license)
All applicable RN certifications required

Nice To Haves

Leadership experience preferred
BSN preferred
National certification encouraged

Responsibilities

Create shift assignments, monitor unit functions, and support staff to ensure quality care.
Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges; collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers.
Evaluate care quality, mentor staff, and foster professional development.
Recognize and act on critical changes in patient condition, initiate emergency care, and coordinate rapid response.
Deliver hands-on nursing care as needed, including assessments, medication administration, and interventions.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity while supporting the interdisciplinary plan of care.
Participate in committees, projects, and staff education initiatives.
