Flexible with day of the week preference.

Requirements

Vocational or Technical Training - M.S. and/or M.O.M from an accredited institution
2+ years in acupuncture
BLS certification from the American Heart Association OR BLS certification from the American Red Cross OR Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)
Minnesota Acupuncture License upon hire required
National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine upon hire required

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 years in a hospital or medical clinic based environment

Responsibilities

Provides services to patients that are amenable to treatment with this modality.
Documents care provided and communicates with referral sources and other treating providers as needed.
Develop, implement and evaluate the patient plan of care based on individual needs including age specific and learning style needs.
Documents patient information and outcome specific care provided.
Educates patient and families as needed regarding treatment and follow through.
Coordinates with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
Participate on quality improvement initiatives, research projects or other initiatives as needed.
Promote the goals and vision of Acupuncture as requested.
Other duties as assigned.
