About The Position
Industrial Valve Sales and Service is looking for an Actuator Technician responsible for performing actuator repair, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning. This role also involves directing and mentoring individuals while working at customer job sites or in the shop. The technician should be proficient with electric and pneumatic actuators, auxiliary gears, and proper work rules.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to clearly communicate with customer
- Able to maintain a DOT physical year to year
Nice To Haves
- 5 to 10 years’ experience working on natural gas pipelines preferred
- Experience with Limitorque, Rotork, EIM actuators is preferred
Responsibilities
- Experience installing Shafer, Biffi, Bettis, EIM electric & pneumatic actuators
- Experience installing and troubleshooting actuator controls
- Experienced with stainless steel tube bending and installation
- Installation of seal kit for Shafer, Biffi, Bettis, EIM electric & pneumatic actuators
- Disassembly, reassembly and troubleshooting Shafer, Biffi, Bettis, EIM electric & pneumatic actuators
- Experienced in rigging and using service truck crane
